I teach art lessons locally in the Phoenix, AZ Metro Area. Please provide your valley location in the e-mail to help me best determine if I am available to teach in that area.

I offer an intensive study course that focuses around a traditional art education, modeled after the French atelier schools of late 1800's. I stress strong foundation skills in drawing and painting from life and I offer intensive courses in establishing a strong fundamental grasp of art history and art concepts and teachings. I teach all ages and skill levels; From young children who wish to tap potential early to college students wishing to supplement their education, as well as older adults that wish to begin a formalized classical art training. Instruction will be tweaked based on the students age level and experience.

Services I offer:

1. Individualized instruction is based on student's age, and skill level.
2. Lessons taught from a fully equipped studio location or from students location.
3. Daytime, evenings, weekends, and after school hours available.
4. Instruction doesn't stop after the session's over. I provide formal exercises that will help the student grow in their freetime.

I do not provide art materials for the instruction, although I will, upon assignment of an appointment, provide a recommended supply list tailored to the instruction that the student needs.

Classical Palette Online Atelier

Another teaching option I provide is through my online art training program called Classical Palette. This program is designed around the working artist, student, or professional that doesn't have the time or the money to fully involve themselves into an atelier education in a studio. Classical Palette provides all the art instruction, critiques, and learning materials online, so the student has the ability to work on their art education in their own timeframe.

Please keep in mind though, Classical Palette is a very intense program for only the most serious and dedicated of students who wish to learn. Art education on it's own requires vast amounts of dedication and self accountability and working in an environment like Classical Palette enhances the qualities needed to be a great working artist.
